Sze Wing Tang is Professor and Chair of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and currently serving as Director of the T. T. Ng Chinese Language Research Centre of the Institute of Chinese Studies and Director of the Research Centre for Chinese Language and Linguistics of the CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute. His research interests lie primarily in Chinese syntax, theoretical approaches to the study of Chinese dialects, and comparative grammar.

Sze Wing Tang’s research interests lie on syntax and comparative grammar with a special focus on grammatical differences among the varieties of Chinese and those between Chinese and English. Topics he is currently working on include syntax of the sentence-final expressions in a cross-linguistic perspective, cartographic syntax of Chinese and the micro-parametric variation of functional categories. 

MOHD AZIDAN ABDUL JABAR is currently a Professor in Discourse Studies, Arabic Language, and Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He has assumed various positions in academic administration including the Dean at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Deputy Dean (Graduate Studies and International Affairs), Head of the Foreign Languages Department, and Minister Counsellor/Director of Education Malaysia Office at the Embassy of Malaysia in Amman, Jordan. He is very well experienced in public administration, foreign services, student affairs management, teaching, research, consultancy, as well as outreach and community service. He has carried out numerous research projects and has published papers in a diverse array of books and journals, while also having presented a significant number of papers at national, regional, and international conferences.

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR DR. SHAHRUL MIZAN BIN ISMAIL is an Associate Professor in Law of the Faculty of Law, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Previously, he was the Dean of the University Malaya Centre for Continuing Education (UMCCED), UM from 2022-2024; the Deputy Dean (Networking & Alumni), Faculty of Law, UKM from 2019-2022 and the Deputy Director (Learning Technologies), Centre for Teaching & Learning Technologies (CTLT), UKM from 2017-2019. 

For his outstanding and significant work in education, he has received numerous prestigious awards at the national level, university level as well as at the faculty level. 

He had published a number of textbook and journal articles as well as newspaper articles in his areas of specialization. He is a legal-education technology enthusiast and an e-learning practitioner, with emphasis on gamification and game-based learning in higher education, mobile learning, technology acceptance as well as active learning.
